Don't worry. I don't know what I'm doing either

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."-Jesus Christ
This passage has been on my mind and heart for the past few months. It's something that I keep coming back to in my life. A lot of times I think we pray to God, in hopes that He will just fix our problems. We hardly ever just come to Him. That's what Jesus is commanding us in Matthew 11:28-30. We get so caught up in thinking we know the solution to our problems and asking God to provide it when in acutality He is the solution. Our hearts will find peace if we just confide in Him. This is something I struggle with tremendously. So often, I just want God to fix the things that are wrong in my life and rarely do I really seek His comfort. I'm doing a lot better with that now but it will definitely take some getting used to. I think it would do all of us a lot of good to just pray for His peace and let Him do what He does best...be God.
